Frankly I shoulda just bought a $5 keyboard and called it a day.that or gotten one of those mini Deck keyboards that are backlit. Price (paid around $70 for it with a gift card.sure it wasn't my own money but DAMN expensive for not even half a keyboard. Some keys are too damn hard to press in certain spots (spacebar key is the worst of these as you can't just lightly tap it, you gotta hit it firmly) Useless wheel and d-pad (depends on the game, but I don't even touch em) Change WASD to be ARROW KEYS and then set the DPAD buttons to be WASD. Software is pretty good, especially for programming the device with your most comfortable controls. When you've been playing an FPS long enough, you just tend to play by feel. My Gateway laptop has a feature of turning off all the lights on it so if I game in the dark I highly doubt I'd be using that backlight to see what I'm doing. The blue backlighting is cool but I don't really need it. You could remap jump to one of the finger keys but that just feels sort of unnatural. The spacebar key is entirely too difficult to press on mine, the d-pad is sort of useless unless you have a game that doesn't require you to jump (The Witcher for example). It definitely doesn't feel like using a keyboard, it feels like using a gaming accessory.if that makes sense. Though I do agree with the requiring more effort to press the keys comment.
